Biomat

Description

A biomat is a multi-layered roll material with a biodegradable base made from natural fibers such as straw or coconut. The inner layers may include plant seeds, fertilizers, soil-forming bacteria, and growth stimulants. For added strength and durability, the material is reinforced with cellulose, jute, or polypropylene mesh.

Straw biomats are ideal for slopes with minimal erosion due to their high filtration capacity. Linen biomats protect long-term erosion in areas with intense surface runoff and adverse weather. Reclamation blends are tailored to the region's hydrological and climatic conditions for maximum effectiveness.
